gcc4 - cannot create executables gcc: ./specs is a directory -

i trying compile libxaw-1.0.10 , , while configuring get: gcc: ./specs directory

i tried compile basic helloworld.c , when created "specs" directory, compilation failed!

• what cause behaviour ?

this solves issue , why gcc unable ignore ":" @ end of (library & ld_library )path file list?
