i have application supports iphone , ipad both in portrait , landscape mode, used size class. in have requirement in landscape views there , not in portrait. happen me if run app selecting wcompact , hregular , run app in landscape mode, still takes views of portrait not landscape. solve issue make sure before running app view files in wany , hany selected. got new project supports iphone , portrait mode only. think should use wanyhany standard , right? suggested or best way start development with? not face issue find before? can't figure out reason happening scenario, 1 can explain?

in landscape mode current iphones except 6+ compact - compact. in portrait mode width compact, height regular.

you can choose restrict app being portrait mode in general settings.
